It’s official. I am now registered for the Kalamazoo Marathon on May 6th.
Not freaking out at all. Nope. (Lies.)
Now that I forked over my money, I am all business and very serious about my running.
And if you have not seen the Hunger Games movie yet, GO! It did not disappoint.
Do you get a rush of excitement and nerves when you sign up for a new race?
It’s always good to have a record of the exact day you’re going to kick some ass!!
Wheeeee!!!!!! May 6th here you COME!!!
(I freaked out when I signed up for Chicago too, kinda wanted to throw up after. Still kinda do, hehe)
Ohhh I got goosebumps for you!!!!! YAY!
Yay!! This would freak me out too but it would also be very motivating, I think! You are going to do so great!!!
You’re like me. Once you put down the cash it’s all business! I definitely still get the race day ‘butterflies’ just like high school track. I love that feeling, a little nervous but you just know that you’re gonna kill it! I’m so psyched to read about YOUR marathon story. You are going to rock it!!!
Yeah! It’s in the bag, girl!! You are gonna do awesome!
You’ll be great! You’ve been putting in the hard work – that’s what counts. And, signing up for my first marathon – I felt like I might throw up.
Oh, I LOVE race registration. Congratulations on getting yours done – this is REALLY happening! May 6th can’t come soon enough!
Well I mean, really, we prefer how far away it is at this point. But you know what I mean.
Thats exciting!! Good luck, I’m sure you’ll do great. I don’t get excited so much as nervous… but I guess training hard can combat some of that
Wow! That’s pretty soon! Are you already doing higher mileage?
I am up to 17 miles! The next 3 Saturdays will be high mileage runs (18, 20, 22 or 16, 18, 20, still debating on which plan to follow) and then I start my taper.
